QUALIFIED
Every Year our operations manual is checked by the civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and we are issued with our Operational Authorisation. Our Chief Pilot is also a qualified Drone Instructor and Assessor with UAVHub and has years of aviation experience in both manned and unmanned aircraft.
We also have authorisation from the CAA to operate within the Danger Area of Hartlepool Power Station and we are an approved drone Operator with Teesside International Airport, to be able to operate within their FRZ.
SAFE
It is the goal of NE Drones – Aerial Photography to operate aircraft without harm, injury or damage to any persons or property.
NE Drones – Aerial Photography pilot -In-Command will comply with all of the safety requirements which are mentioned in CAP 722 also the limitations of the operational authorisation issued by the UK CAA.
NE Drones – Aerial Photography is committed to maintaining the highest standards of flight safety and aims to minimise harm to any persons or property by undertaking thorough risk assessments, site surveys, crew briefings, weather checks; crew training; and ensuring aircraft are in operational condition through regular inspection and maintenance regimes. By these processes NE Drones – Aerial Photography assures safety at all times whilst carrying out flight operations.

INSURED
NE Drones comply with EU785/2004 and are legally obliged to hold valid insurance to cover our operations. This includes public Liability insurance to the value of £5m.
There are a number of illegal Drone operators who do not hold any qualifications and have no insurance.
COMPLIANT
All of our operations satisfy all the requirements regarding National Aviation Authorities Operational Authorisation PDRA01 for UAS Operations. Aaron O’Roarty Trading as NE Drones Aerial Photography will abide by the requirements of ANO2016 (as amended) and Regulation (EU) 2019/947 as retained (and amended in UK domestic law) under the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.
We comply with our operations manual at all times and operate under the strict regulations laid out in our operational Authorisation issued by the CAA.
